Éste domingo se ha celebrado en Ontinyent (Valencia), el 3r. Campeonato de España de Carrera de Montaña de la Federación Española de Atletismo.Louise se ha clasificado en una magnífica 2ª posición detrás de la internacional mundialista en cros y media maratón y actual Campeona de España de la modalidad, Marta Fernández de Castro, y por delante de la gran atleta castellana, 3ª el año pasado, Alma de la Heras.
La carrera constaba de unos 10 Kms. y 380 m. de desnivel positivo por pista y senderos de la montaña de "El Torrater", en el valle de Albaida, con una subida muy pronunciada y muy técnica que se habia de subir dos veces para después bajar hasta la pista de atletismo de donde se había salido.

This weekend we treked 500km south to Ontinyent (Valencia) where the 3rd Spanish fell running championships were being held. Louise was very happy with her second place behind the international cross-country and half-marathon runner and reigning Spanish fell champion, Marta Fernandez de Castro and in front of Alma de la Heras who came third last year.
The course was 10km with 380 m. of climbing. It started on an athletics track, then 1km of road and the rest on narrow winding paths. It included a very steep, technical climb which the athletes had to tackle twice before making their way back to the finish line on the athletics track.
